Cindy's Quality Grooming is a full service Dog Grooming salon.
I have over 20 years dog grooming experience,
providing gentle care and handling of my clients pets.
I have trained under seven state certified groomers.
Each of them had their own special talent and method
of grooming and handling their dogs. I took
their best qualities and developed my own style.
It's all about quality, not quantity.
And above all, what is best for your pet.
I've also groomed at a vet clinic where
I learned about pet health issues. I can advise you
if your pet may be in need of a
visit from your vet.
I have a special talent in grooming puppies.
It is very important to introduce
your puppy to the grooming process in a gentle manner.
You start by gently holding
their head with both hands and talking to them
while maintaining eye contact,
once they relax and are comfortable take your thumbs and gently rub down
the nose and under the eyes,
once they are comfortable with that you
take a warm wash cloth and gently wash under their eyes and mouth.
This helps them get used to washing, combing, and scissoring their
face. If you are stressed or angry don't try it, or they will think
you are going to hurt them. Only do this when you are calm and relaxed.
Then rub their feet to get them used to triming nails.
This will help keep the grooming process a positve experience.
For shedding breeds, I highly recommend the FUR-minator shed-less treatment.
